Fish are totally dependent upon water to breathe, feed and grow, excrete wastes, maintain a salt balance and reproduce. To a large extent, water quality determines aquarium livestock keeping will be successful. SIF Technologies’ DPA system also helps fish keepers accelerate the growth rate of livestock, increase spawning rate, lower mortality rate and control parasite in the water system so that it will be optimum for rearing of aquatic livestock . When aquatic livestock needs to be exported to foreign markets, they need to be packaged and transported over an extended period of time. DPA system provides an effective solution to increase stocking density of the livestock and reduce the death on arrival (DOA) at destination.

A leading exporter of ornamental fish in Singapore reported zero DOA for their fish exports to foreign markets even though the chemical vaccines they added were decreased by 50%. Moreover, more than 50 % of active exporters of ornamental fish in Singapore are using our technology for their packing and transportation. They experienced an increase in stocking density from 1000 live prawns to 2000 live prawn in usual packaging. There was also significant reduction in Death of Arrival from an average rate of 5% to less than 1%.
