What is DPA?
DPA System is a patented proprietary technology that operates based on the principles of Cavitation. It alters the water cluster structure into micron levels; bringing about a bacteriological alteration in the water. With this alteration, following effects can be achieved:
Improvement in oxygen conditions
Anaerobic bacterial growth inhibition
An increase in water solubility
Inhibition of bad algae growth
What is Ozone?
Ozone or trioxygen (O3) is a triatomic molecule that consists of three oxygen atoms. It is a much more powerful oxidizing agent than dioxygen but it is unstable at high concentrations as it would decay to ordinary diatomic oxygen under atmospheric conditions. There are various industrial and consumer applications for Ozone. Ozone can be used for bleaching substances and eliminating microorganisms in air and water sources. Small amounts of ozone can also be used for disinfection in residential homes.
Advantages of DPA System
SIF Technologies conducted a test trial in collaboration with an exporter of ornamental fish in Singapore. The ornamental fish exporter’s farm was using two ozone water treatment systems to treat water stored in a containment area before channeling it for quarantine and farming purposes. Prior to the introduction of Ozone treatment, the farm was using traditional methods of filtration.
Based on historical readings, there is strong indication that the DPA system is able to create more favourable dissolved oxygen conditions. Measurements also show that the DPA lead to greater reduction in anaerobic bacteria activities compared to using filtration and ozone water treatment system.
